How add-ons work
- Add-ons require an active paid base plan. They are available on Starter, Advanced, and Pro. Free workspaces cannot buy add-ons, subscribe to a paid plan first.
- Each add-on is billed monthly as its own line, separate from your plan. You can run any combination at once.
- Add and remove add-ons any time. Removing one stops its monthly charge.

Advanced and Pro both include Remove branding at no extra charge, so it cannot be purchased as an add-on on those plans. Human handover is included on Advanced and Pro as well, and is no longer sold as an add-on on any plan.
Remove Dante AI branding ($50 / month)
Hides the "Powered by Dante AI" badge on the widget for a fully white-labeled experience. Manage it on your agent's Publish page, under the Appearance tab.
Human handover
Human handover is included on the Advanced and Pro plans. It adds a built-in inbox so a real person on your team can take over a live chat when the AI agent needs backup. Configure the trigger and routing on your agent's Publish page, under the Handover tab. It is not sold as an add-on.
Extra AI agent ($20 / month each)
Free and Starter ship with one agent; Advanced includes 3 and Pro includes 10. Add more when you want separate agents for different use cases. Each extra agent has its own knowledge base and personality, and shares your workspace plan limits for credits and characters. This add-on is quantity-based, so each agent bills as its own $20 / month unit.
Extra credits ($20 / month per 1,000 credits)
Tops up your monthly credit allowance when traffic runs hot, so your agent keeps answering after it hits the plan limit. The top-up is added on top of your plan allowance and is re-applied each billing cycle for as long as the add-on stays active. This add-on is quantity-based, so you can buy several 1,000-credit units at once.
How to buy an add-on
- From the Plans page. Open Plans from the left sidebar, under Account, and scroll to the Add-ons section. For Extra AI agent and Extra credits, use the +/- stepper to pick a quantity. Click Add to plan and Stripe checkout opens.
- From an upgrade prompt. When you try to use a gated feature (the branding or handover toggle, or you hit your credit cap), the in-app prompt offers the matching add-on. Confirm in Stripe checkout.
- Pay and activate. Every add-on purchase goes through Stripe checkout and charges immediately. The add-on activates as soon as payment confirms.
Buy more of one you already have
You can raise the number of Extra AI agents whenever you need to. Open the Add-ons section on the Plans page again. The quantity starts one above what you already hold, and the number you confirm is the new total, not an amount added on top of it. The button spells out both, for example Add 1 more, 3 in total.
For Extra credits, adding more to an add-on you already hold is not self-serve yet, so contact our team and we will set it up for you. Buying Extra credits for the first time works normally from the Plans page.
Raising your Extra AI agents does not open Stripe checkout and does not charge you on the spot. The extra capacity turns on as soon as Stripe confirms the change, normally within a few seconds, and nothing is billed mid-cycle. We do not pro-rata: you keep the extra capacity for the rest of the current period at the amount you are already paying, and the new amount is charged in full from the next renewal of that add-on. Because a plan and its add-ons can renew on different dates, the new total may take a few weeks to show as a single steady monthly figure.
Lowering the amount is not self-serve. The Billing portal covers plan changes, payment details and cancellation, but not add-on quantity, so contact our team to reduce it and the rest stays in place. Cancelling an add-on removes all of it rather than part of it.
Cancel an add-on
Open Billing and remove the add-on. Its separate monthly subscription is cancelled, the feature switches off, and you are not charged for it again. Any extra credits already added to your balance stay, they are not removed.
