Efficiently managing your AI chatbot’s usage is crucial to staying within your plan’s limits. This section will guide you through customizing and controlling your chatbot’s settings, such as credit and message limits. Good management helps you avoid unexpected costs and keeps your chatbot running smoothly, ensuring a reliable and consistent experience for your users.
Turning your AI chatbot on/off
You can easily control whether your AI chatbot is accessible to users by toggling it on or off as needed.
- To turn your AI chatbot on/off, click on the Safety button on the left side of your dashboard.
- Toggle the Chatbot Off/On option. Note that when you toggle your AI chatbot off, it will be inaccessible to users.
How to set credit allowances
To control how much credit is consumed per conversation, set a maximum credit allowance for users. For instance, if you set a limit of 10 credits per conversation, it will help manage your overall credit usage. If you want to make this unlimited, input ‘0’.
How to set message limits
You can limit the number of messages users can send per conversation by setting a maximum message allowance. This helps prevent excessive usage. If you prefer no limit, input ‘0’.
How to set message time intervals
To prevent spam or unauthorized bot access, you can set a time limit interval between messages sent by users. For example, allowing three messages per minute can help control the flow of conversations. If you want no restrictions, input ‘0’ messages every ‘0’ minutes.
Click Update to confirm your settings.
