How to create an AI voice agent
Before you can enable AI voice agent, you must first create and set up your AI chatbot. If you haven’t done this yet, follow our getting started with your AI chatbot guide to complete the initial steps. Once your chatbot is ready, you can proceed with enabling AI Voice.

Your AI voice agent will have a memory based on the files and URLs you have uploaded and a custom personality and voice based on your preferences and use case.
The Flow:
- If you haven already, Create an AI chatbot.
- Create your AI voice and customize its personality to define how your assistant sounds.
- Get a phone number – either purchase one directly through the Dante AI platform or connect your own Twilio number.
- Your AI voice agent is now live and ready to receive calls from any mobile or landline phone.
