Step 2: Create an AI Voice
Learn how to create and configure your AI Voice in Dante AI, from selecting a chatbot and phone number to setting up voice settings, greetings, and personality prompts.
Once your phone number is verified, you can create an AI Voice:
1. Access the AI Voice Dashboard:
- In Dante AI, go to the AI Voice menu on the sidebar.

- If you have no AI Voices yet, you’ll see a Create AI Voice button. Click it. (If you already have AI Voices, they’ll be listed here.)

2. Configure Basic Settings:
- Voice Name: Enter a name for your AI Voice (e.g., “Customer Support Voice”).

- AI Chatbot: Select the chatbot you want to connect to this AI Voice. This determines the conversational logic as well as what the AI voice is able to help your clients with.

- Phone Numbers: Choose the phone number that you want to connect with this AI Voice. You can also connect multiple numbers with one AI voice.

3. Choose an AI Voice

5. Greeting Message:
- Enter the initial message users hear when they call (e.g., “Hello, welcome to our support line!”).

6. Personality Prompt:
- Define the AI Voice’s tone and behavior (e.g., “Be friendly and professional”).
- Tip: Click the Copy button to duplicate the prompt from your selected AI chatbot and modify it as needed.

7. Save and Create:
- Click Create to finalize your AI Voice.
If the phone number is already being used by another AI Voice, you’ll see an error; each number supports only one AI Voice.
