Step 1: Set Up a Twilio phone number

The AI Voice feature currently integrates with Twilio to provide phone numbers for voice interactions. Here’s how to prepare your Twilio phone number:

1. Purchase a Phone Number in Twilio:

  - Log in to your Dante AI account.
  - Navigate to AI Voice on the sidebar and access your Twilio account. 

- If you are new to Twilio and need help signing up, please follow theironboarding guide.    

- Please note that you need an upgraded Twilio account to connect with the AI Voice.

- On the left sidebar in Twillio, click Phone Number > Manage >Buy a number.

- If you want to use an existing business number, check with Twilio support to see if it can be ported or registered.

2. Get the Verification Link from Dante AI:

   - In your Dante AI dashboard, click on AI Voice Agents in the sidebar.

   - Click Add a Number.

   - Enter the Twilio phone number you purchased in Step 1. A Verification Link will appear; copy this link and paste it into Twilio.

3. Verify the Phone Number in Twilio:

   - Back in the Twilio dashboard, select your purchased phone number under Phone Number > Manage > Active Numbers.

   - Go to the Configure tab for that number.

   - In the Voice Configuration section, find the input field URL for the ‘A Call Comes In’ section

   - Paste the Verification Link from Dante AI into the URL section and save the configurations at the bottom of the page.

4. Verify in Dante AI:

   - Return to Dante AI and click Verify next to the phone number you added. If the link was correctly added in Twilio, the number will be verified and ready for use in Dante AI.
